It made from high quality heartwood honduras mahogany - typically used for real boats - and meticulously painted like the actual Chris Craft Runabout. Many layers of paint and varnish applied extra carefully to this ship model where each layer is left to dry and micro sanded before another layer is applied. For steel parts (steering wheel, horns, propeller), the replica use the same brass and stainless steel material as used in actual boats. You won't find any cheap plastic parts.
